Griddles, Hotplates, and Misc

FAQ:
What's "Zone Cooking"? Chrome griddles versus standard griddles - What is the difference?

Answer:
Zone cooking on the Vulcan 900 Series is simple and efficient. The 900 Series griddle has 12" wide zones that allow the operator to set different temperatures to cook a variety of foods that require different cook times.

Chrome griddle are excellent for retaining heat at the griddle surface. Chrome griddles displace less heat into the air for a more comfortable work environment. Chrome surfaces are easier and faster to clean than standard griddle surfaces.

FAQ:
How do I choose the size and type of griddle I need?

Answer:
Depends on the volume (size and weight) of food you'll be cooking on the griddle. Also depends on whether you are cooking wet or dry or both. A Vulcan representative can best help you assess your needs.
