Regarding the Robertshaw Thermal Safety Control Valve and Gas Valve Voluntary Recall Program.

Please Read Carefully and Then Check Your Equipment

The voluntary recall applies to TS11 thermal safety control valves and certain 7000 Series gas valves.

These valves are used on commercial cooking equipment, including ranges, griddles and fryers that were produced between February 2003 and August 2004. The valves have a date code (found in the bottom right or left corner) from 0306 through and including 0436.

FOR THE 7000 SERIES VALVE CHECK THE FOLLOWING MODELS:

GRD and GRC 35, 45, 65 and 85 fryers, natural gas and propane with manual ignition

EF3, EF4, GR(5), 35, 45, 65 and 85 propane gas units only

EXCEPTIONS:The following five natural gas millivolt models are exceptions to the "MV" rule and are also being recalled: 7000AMV; 7000BMV; 7000BMV-S7CL; 7000MVLC; 7000MVRCLC. In addition to these specific "MV" model numbers, "MV" valves with the indicated date codes that have been converted to Liquid Propane ("LP") gas use, are also included in the recall.
